Being self-aware gives you an understanding of the direction your life is taking you. It increases the likelihood of being able to transform your dark thoughts and emotions into lighter ones. Self-awareness enhances productivity and leads to positive changes.

“Self-awareness is the ability to take an honest look at your life without any attachment to it being right or wrong, good or bad.”
~ Debbie Ford
Self-awareness helps you take control of your life by taking control of your behavior. Begin with body awareness as a direct route to knowing your mind, mastering your emotions, improving your relationships, and living in alignment with your values.
Your body is the physical manifestation of your reactions to life. Once you're aware of your body's messaging system it’s easier to respond. Shift your unconscious behavior into conscious behavior and your body and life will reflect those changes.
Becoming aware of your thoughts helps to slow them down. When you need to make an important decision it’s best to quiet the mental chatter so that you can hear the voice of your soul. This allows you to move towards what you clearly want and need.
Awareness of your emotions is an important step towards self-mastery. Unpleasant emotions come from fear; pleasant emotions come from love and they bring awareness to unconscious programming. This allows you to question negative thoughts and limiting beliefs so that you can determine what is actually true.
Becoming self-aware in relationships will boost your self-esteem. The better you know yourself the better you are at relating to others. This greatly increases your chances of attracting healthy relationships that reflect your innate worthiness and self-confidence.
Your productivity and creativity increase with self-awareness. Acknowledging how good you feel when you put your energy into being productive and creative causes you to have more energy to enjoy the things you love, and accept life's challenges.
Being aware of who you really are is essential to living an awakened life. Knowing that you’re a soul with an ego means that you're aware of the function or dysfunction of your ego. Simply relax and let your soul guide you with loving awareness.

With love and light,
