Satori Wisdom - I Am Getting Out of My Comfort Zone

The ego builds a comfort zone to feel safe and survive. When you trust your soul to be your guide you'll feel safe to go beyond your comfort zone and thrive. This is how you reach your full potential.

ACTION STEPS

Your body is a physical manifestation of your comfort zone, and it's doing its best to help you survive. If you're experiencing any discomfort in your body this is one way your soul is urging you to make some changes. To get out of this comfort zone it's useful to determine the emotional issues beneath the physical symptoms and clear them out of your body to support healing.

Living in a comfort zone is the realm of status quo where no real growth can occur. If you're not growing . . . you're dying. Choose to grow, then trust your intuition to lead the way and the Universe will support every step you take towards expansion.

The wisdom of getting out of your comfort zone comes from the consistent action you take followed by the self-realization that occurs as you move in the direction of your highest good. This is not always easy but it is necessary to fulfill your true destiny.

The comfort zone of a relationship is experienced as a lack of growth. It either means that you've grown as much as possible with that person or you haven't been willing to take the relationship to the next level by being authentic and vulnerable. Relationships are meant to take you out of your comfort zone.

Your diet can become a comfort zone. You may be consuming food that you know isn't good for you but it's 'comfort food.' It's a good idea to introduce a variety of whole foods into your diet by adding new organic fruits and veggies to your diet each week.

Your home can either be a comfort zone or a private sanctuary. If you experience peace in your home, you're living in a sanctuary. If your home is a source of stress due to clutter or chaos, it has become a comfort zone because you're tolerating it rather than going through the discomfort of clearing it.

Taking care of everyone else with little or no time and energy left for yourself can become a comfort zone based on over-giving. To get out of this zone you will need to set healthy boundaries that allow you to take care of yourself. As you celebrate Independence Day this week remember that you're appreciating your personal freedom by choosing self-love and self-care.
