Just like the the sun shines its light through the atmosphere and illuminates everything it touches, your spirit can shine through your body and radiate your unique brilliance. When you let your light shine you free your spirit.
“As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others.”
~ Marianne Williamson
A free spirit is someone who shines their light at all times, not just when it's convenient. A free spirit is in the flow of life and isn't diminished by negative circumstances or people. A free spirit is who you really are.
Your bright ideas come from your spirit. Spirit is the light that surrounds and fills your body. It is expressed through your heart and mind in the form of inspired action. The next time you have a brilliant idea, thank your spirit for shining through.
In this physical world of density and duality it is the darkness that often stands out and gets noticed. It isn't necessary to get rid of the darkness because when you shine your light in the dark it disappears on its own.
Fear dims your light. Too much attention to what there is to be afraid of is a message to your spirit that you don't believe that you're more than a body with an ego that is just trying to survive. Let the light of your spirit shine and the fear is free to go.
Imagine your inner light as a radiant sun that sends out rays of joy from your solar plexus. Breathe into this power center and imagine the light expanding and as you exhale send your light out into the world.
When you meditate you radiate. Set aside time every morning to start your day in stillness to receive inspiration from your spirit. This practice is well worth your time because you'll discover that your self-worth shines from your spirit.
Connect with your inner healer by shining your spiritual light on your emotional body. There may be an emotional storage locker filled with anger, sadness, guilt, shame, disappointment, resentment, and grief that is hidden away in the dark. Physical symptoms have a way of getting our attention and bringing things to light. It's always helpful to address the underlying emotional component to activate healing from within.
