Thriving Thursday

Balance is an integral part of a successful relationship. It’s up to you to heal your childhood wounds so that you can show up fully without emotional baggage. The best way to unpack your emotional baggage is to open it up, take a look at it, decide where it belongs, and stop wearing what no longer fits.

Abandonment, whether physical or emotional, can be the source of childhood wounds. Take a look at this short video on abandonment to determine if this is an emotional wound that needs healing:

After watching this video place your hands on your heart center, close your eyes, and breathe deeply, as you reassure your inner child that as an adult you will listen and take care of your own needs.

Feel free to email me at: [email protected] if you would like support.

Enjoy your Thriving Thursday!

Wisdom Wednesday

What often gets in the way of trusting our intuition and living our dreams is an underlying misbelief of unworthiness. There is nothing you need to prove to be worthy of moving in the direction of your dreams. Just by taking the first step, and then the next, until you gain some momentum will set you on the right path. Remember to be patient with yourself on this journey and have compassion if self-doubt arises.

Listen to this guided meditation video on cultivating worthiness:

Afterwards write your thoughts in a journal or share them with me via email: [email protected].

Intuitive Tuesday

Creativity comes from the right hemisphere of your brain that is the receptive, intuitive, feminine side. Pay attention to your intuition and then put your creativity into form with the use of your left brain that is the active, logical, masculine side.

Watch this video with Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love, on her 10 rules for success:

While you’re watching this video pick one or two rules for success that you intend to start using today and commit to them in writing or share your intention with a friend. Feel free to email me at: [email protected], and I will support you with your intention.

Mantra Monday

mind/body poses yoga May 27, 2019

Yoga means union between mind and body. By combining poses (asanas) inspired by nature and animals with conscious breathing techniques (pranayama), you experience a healthy connection between your body and mind that brings you fully into the present moment where life is happening. The more you practice yoga, the more present you become to your life.

Here is a 20-minute home yoga practice for beginners:

If you are brand new to yoga this is a great introduction. If you already a seasoned yogi this is still a gentle reminder of how much you can connect your body/mind with an easy 20-minute practice at home.

After you complete this yoga practice notice how you feel and write about it in your journal. Feel free to email me at: [email protected] to share your experience with me. I would love to hear from you!

Happy Mantra Monday!

Satori Wisdom - I Am Defining My Success

We live in a supportive universe. Like a river that flows and affects everything it touches, you have an infinite flow of well-being that is the source of your success and positively affects the lives of those you touch.

"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.

If you love what you are doing, you will be successful."  ~ Albert Schweitzer

Healthy habits form a strong foundation for living a successful life. Having a yoga practice is a way to mindfully move your body, deepen your breath, massage your internal organs, and increase circulation. It's also a great way to get into the natural rhythm of life where success naturally flows.

A big part of success is creativity and innovation. When you can take an idea all the way to full creative self-expression you will feel satisfied by the successful process of completion. Any additional success that shows up in the outer world can be considered a bonus.

Inspired action is often the...

Listen for the answer as the intuitive guidance that is always available.

Satori Wisdom - Sanctuary Saturday

Spend time today going into each room of your home and feel the energy. Notice how you feel in each room and either make a mental note or a written note. If there is a room that feels off to you allow thirty minutes to begin the process of decluttering, moving furniture, or anything else that would make the space feel better to you. Take a break. If you want to spend another thirty minutes on it, do so. If not, come back to it later or another day until the room has a good vibe.

Here is a short video on 8 Feng Shui tips that could change your life:

After watching the video decide on one thing you will do today to make your home a peaceful sanctuary and share it with me at: [email protected].

Happy Sanctuary Saturday!

Satori Wisdom - Thriving Thursday

Choose one relationship you would like to focus on for today. The first person that pops into your mind is probably the one that needs attention.

Start by closing your eyes, and imagine that person in front of you. Breathe in and as you breathe out send love from your heart to their heart. Continue to do this throughout the day and be aware of how you feel. If you see or talk to that person, notice the difference in your connection, continue sending them love while you’re listening, and speak from your heart.

One of the most basic human needs of the heart is attention. When you give another person your full attention you are helping to fulfill that need. Just make sure the attention you give is positive rather than negative.

Watch this short video of Dr. Harville Hendrix on relationships:

After you watch the video share what you learned by emailing me at: [email protected].

Have a thriving Thursday!

Satori Wisdom - Wisdom Wednesday

Get outdoors today and connect with nature. Nature calms your nervous system and opens your mind to your soul’s wisdom and guidance. Come to your senses by paying attention to what you see, hear, taste, touch and smell. Engage your sixth sense as well by quieting your mind and listening to your intuition. One of the best ways to quiet the chatter of the mind is to become fully present with your body in the moment.

If you can’t get outdoors, here’s a guided meditation to connect with nature:

After connecting with nature, write in a journal any new insights or ideas that you received. Feel free to also email me at: [email protected].

Enjoy Wisdom Wednesday!
