Finding stillness in a world of distractions takes practice. Here are a variety of ways to create inner stillness: exercising, dancing, practicing yoga, creating art, listening to music, being in nature, sitting still and doing nothing, and meditating.

Being cool. calm and collected is the beautiful art of ease. Stay cool and you will be like a breath of fresh air; keep calm under pressure and you will bless everyone with your peaceful presence; be emotionally collected as a way to transform chaos into peace.

The disposition of being cool when things get heated; calm in the midst of conflict; and collected during challenging times, is what it takes to be unstoppable. Practice the art of moving through life with ease to reach your potential and fulfill your dreams. 

Staying cool on a physical level comes from activating the relaxation response. The simple act of taking a few deep breaths before you react to a heated situation will turn off the stress response so that you can respond from a place of relaxed clarity.

When you find yourself in emotional waters the first thing to do is get centered in your heart. Returning to your center allows you to naturally accept whatever is happening with grace and ease. Your heart brings the being to human being.

As a human you identify with your body and mind. As a being you identify with your soul and spirit. The value in bringing these identities together is to give your soul the best human experience. During these unprecedented times it's helpful to have faith in the wisdom of uncertainty. The future is unknown, and yet we still believe that the sun will set this evening and will rise again tomorrow morning.

ACTION STEPS

Even though you cannot see the sunrise at night you know that it will be back in the morning to light up the whole sky. This kind of faith will help you remain calm and hopeful during challenging times.  

Create a morning and evening ritual of connecting with the sunrise and sunset. Appreciate the rising and setting sun and it will strengthen your faith in the universe. This connection will activate your parasympathetic nervous system and help you feel centered and peaceful.
