Strength and vulnerability go hand in hand with courage. It takes courage to overcome the fear of being vulnerable, and that makes you stronger. Being an emotionally available human allows you to live with an open heart and make strong connections.
“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness.” ~ Brené Brown
Vulnerability is at the center of wholehearted living. It strengthens every part of who you are on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Being vulnerable is having the courage to show up as your whole self and speak your truth.
Your body becomes stronger every time you learn a new physical skill. Consider learning a new sport, signing up for an endurance race, or trying a new class to develop the courage it takes to be vulnerable doing something outside of your comfort zone.
Allowing yourself to be vulnerable...

When you focus on the light within you become radiant. Your solar plexus is the power center for your body that generates vitality for life. As a magnetic being of light you naturally radiate health, strength, confidence, and courage.
“Don't fear the light within. May it ignite the Sacred Flame in your soul.” ~ Paulo Coelho
If you're feeling insecure and have a need to please others; or if you tend to bully and manipulate people to get your way, know that these are symptoms of a closed power center. You can heal your solar plexus chakra by bringing negative patterns of behavior into the light to be transformed. As you become illuminated you're more at ease with yourself and others.
Your third chakra is located above your navel in the area of your solar plexus. This is where your physical and spiritual powers come together. To keep this center balanced you can say empowering mantras, practice sun salutations, and heal past...

A superhero has super human powers. When you use your superpowers you awaken your soul. Activate your intuition, creativity, kindness, compassion, connection, courage, love and joy to make a positive difference in the world.
“I have one power. I never give up.” ~ Batman
“With great power, comes great responsibility.” ~ Spiderman
“I think a hero is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” ~ Superman
Your soul is a superhero. It's that part of you that always has been, and always will be. Your soul has a mission on earth to help you live to your full potential using all of your superpowers.
When you activate your intuition you're using one of your greatest superpowers. Listen to the voice of your soul and trust that it will always guide you to make the best choices for the highest good of all concerned.
Creativity is synonymous with...
Your hero's journey begins with a call to adventure. The hero of your story is your own soul and the part of you that needs rescuing is your wounded ego. The journey is about waking up to the freedom of a heart-centered life.
“We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” ~ Joseph Campbell
The call to adventure takes you from an ordinary life to one that is extraordinary. You may choose to refuse the call at first because your ego is reluctant to go outside of its comfort zone. When you've developed the courage you need you'll feel compelled to answer the call.
Once you commit to the adventure the transformation begins when you meet your mentor. A mentor is someone who believes in you and will help you build your confidence by preparing you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for the journey ahead.
There will be challenges along the way. If you see these challenges as...
Fear exists in the mind. Becoming fearless is realizing that you don't have to believe your own fearful thoughts. Being afraid of your own thinking is like being frightened by your own shadow. You're only one thought away from courage.
"Do the thing you are afraid to do, and the death of fear is certain.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
The defenseless rabbit is associated with fear because it reacts by freezing and then running away from a potential threat. Rabbits also represent fertility. A fertile mind can either grow seeds of fear and anxiety or safety and security. It all depends on what you choose to plant in your subconscious.
What scares you? Is it a rational or irrational fear? If it is irrational then facing it will cause it to disappear. I used to have a fear of public speaking. After getting up in front of large corporate audiences a few times I was able to shift from the fear of being judged to the love of sharing my message and...
It takes courage to forgive. You have to let go anger and resentment to set yourself free. The practice of forgiveness dissolves negative energy and removes the grievances that have been stealing your joy.
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” ~ Gandhi
Being on the receiving end of hurtful behavior can cause anger and resentment. Forgiveness is the antidote. You can't control how other people behave but the way you respond to their behavior is totally up to you. If you're holding on to deep anger and resentment you may need to physically let it go before you can forgive. Kickboxing or punching a bag with boxing gloves are a couple of ways to release stored emotions.
Forgiving a parent can heal a childhood wound that is showing up in your current relationships. The pain you feel in the present is related to an emotional wound from the past. When you can see that your parents were acting out...
Supercharge your dreams into existence with the wisdom of your soul. When your body is rooted in a solid foundation of well-being and your ego is aligned with your soul, all is well. Trust your soul as though your life depends on it.
“Trust that your soul has a plan and even if you can’t see it all, know that everything will unfold as it’s meant to.” ~ Deepak Chopra
Your soul is here to enjoy the human experience. It loves to be in nature where your body feels more grounded, and your mind is more in tune with inner wisdom. Spend time outdoors near trees as often as possible, even if it's just for few minutes. This is one way to honor your soul.
Your soul will guide you to make good choices. When those choices have positive results you will learn to trust your soul and let go of the ego's attachment to specific outcomes.
Trust your soul to guide you to where you want to go. It's like having an inner GPS to reach your...
Courage has both masculine and feminine principles. Your intuitive, feminine aspect determines if the fear you’re experiencing is real or imaginary so that your action-oriented, masculine side can respond with courage.
Declare “I Am Cultivating Courage” as you contemplate these words from Walt Disney: “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
Imaginary fears have a convincing way of blocking your dreams. They speak to you with the frightened voice of your small self that believes you’re not good enough or worthy. Have a conversation with your small self to reassure him/her that you are good enough and worthy of living your dreams. When your inner child can trust you it will loosen its fearful grip on your life, and allow your true self to lead the way.
The lion represents courage and strength in overcoming difficulties. Its self-confidence and personal power have earned him the title, King of the Jungle....
Trust is at the heart of healthy relationships. When you trust yourself you’ve connected with your intuition. Self-trust aligns you with infinite intelligence and the wisdom to make choices for the highest good of all concerned.
Declare “I Am Trusting Myself” and check with your inner GPS (Go. Proceed. Succeed.) before making a decision.
Trusting yourself requires being vulnerable. There may be a fear of rejection if someone doesn’t agree with the choices you make when you’re tuned into your inner sense of knowing. You were born with a natural ability to trust yourself but fear of getting hurt caused a split between knowing what to do, and doing it. Being vulnerable is a strength, especially when it leads to trusting yourself.
Self-trust takes courage. It opens you up to how others will respond to your words and actions. It’s a sure-fire way to strengthen your character and develop your trust muscle. Rejection can sometimes be the...
