As the caretaker of your body you are responsible for supporting its healing. Every choice you make either increases or decreases your physical well-being and longevity. Invest in your health and it will provide a return on investment for the rest of your life.
“Awareness is the first step in healing.” ~ Dean Ornish
It’s a privilege to be in a body, and an obligation to take care of it. You’re obligated to give your body the same level of attention you would give to a newborn. After all, your body is being reborn every day of your life and it depends on you to fulfill its needs. Put your faith in vibrant health as a way to heal and rejuvenate your body.
Nutrition has proven to be an essential component for self-healing. Add more organic raw foods to your diet and you’ll be getting the nutrients your body needs to heal and be healthy. The more enzyme-rich fruits and...

Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Healing My Inner Child

healing inner child May 16, 2022

Caring for your inner child is about addressing unmet needs from childhood and healing emotional traumas. The process begins by creating a safe place for your inner child to hang out with you. Healing your inner world transforms your outer world.
"I believe that this neglected, wounded, inner child of the past is the major source of human misery.” ~ John Bradshaw.
You’ll know that your inner child needs healing if you have any of the following issues: chronic illness, take things personally, have an inner critic, react rather than respond, trouble sleeping, feel depressed, struggle with addiction, deal with weight issues, feel that you're not good enough, impatient, or difficulty expressing yourself.
It’s helpful to know that you’re not the only one with a wounded inner child. The first step to healing this part of yourself is to acknowledge it. The second step is to provide a safe...

Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Healing Naturally

From the time you were a small child you had a connection with the natural world. Mother Nature has always been there for you providing whatever you needed. Reconnect to restore your body’s innate intelligence for natural healing.

“The art of healing comes from nature, not from the physician. Therefore the physician must start from nature, with an open mind.” ~ Paracelsus

As a child you probably enjoyed playing outdoors on the grass and in the dirt. It turns out that this is how you develop a strong immune system. You need the friendly bacteria that's in the soil to have a healthy microbiome in your gut. Make a habit of standing or sitting with your bare skin touching the earth as much as possible, and breathe deeply.

Plant a garden in your backyard, grow herbs in pots on a windowsill or become part of a community garden. Be sure to connect with local organic farmers and support them at your local farmer's markets. Nature...

Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Activating My Chakra System

You have seven energy centers, known as chakras, that form the energetic architecture of your soul. Activate your chakra system to heal what needs healing by using the vibration of color and the power of natural elements.

“Each of the seven chakras are governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness that we can use to cultivate greater harmony, happiness, and wellbeing in our lives and in the world.”  ~ Deepak Chopra

Activate your root chakra, located at the base of your spine, by standing barefoot on the earth to get grounded and discharge the energy of stress. Imagine your legs are like two prongs of an electrical plug that are being connected to its power source. Your first chakra resonates with the color red so eating red fruits and veggies will energize it.

Your sacral chakra is located two inches below your naval and is activated by water. Feel the pleasure of being immersed in water,...

Satori Wisdom ~ I Am On a Path of Love

Love is the path that will take you to your best life because it means your soul is in charge, and every experience is seen through the eyes of love. You can bring more joy into the world by falling in love with your soul.

“Following the path of love is always your soul's true desire.” ~ James Van Praagh

Love is a source of healing. It can heal a wounded ego with loving thoughts and beliefs. Love heals illness and injury to the body with loving care and attention. Love heals relationships with acceptance of each others differences. Use love to activate the healer within.

When you follow the path of love you feel safe because you're connected to a power greater than yourself. You no longer need to rely on your ego to protect you because your soul knows the way.

On the path of love you will find opportunities to begin again. You may head towards compassion then come to a fork in the path where you move in the direction of...

Satori Wisdom - I Am Letting My Light Shine

Just like the the sun shines its light through the atmosphere and illuminates everything it touches, your spirit can shine through your body and radiate your unique brilliance. When you let your light shine you free your spirit.

“As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others.”

                                                                                                                ~ Marianne Williamson

A free spirit is someone who shines their light at all times, not just when it's convenient. A free spirit is in the flow of life and...

Sacred Sunday

When you eat is just as important as what you eat. Fasting has been around for ages as a healing practice for detoxing and repairing the body. It can also be part of a sacred spiritual practice. There is a way of eating with daily fasting called intermittent fasting that is relatively easy to incorporate, once you get used to it.

Watch this short TED talk on intermittent fasting to determine if this fasting technique is right for you:

If you would like support with this technique, email me at: [email protected].

Satori Wisdom - I Am Transforming Relationships

Relationships encourage you to love, heal and grow. They bring up childhood wounds to be healed so that you can grow to your full potential through unconditional love. Trust your intuition to guide you to wholeness.

Declare “I Am Transforming Relationships” and consider this quote:” If you are in a relationship feeling empty and alone, you are ready for a transformation. Begin by changing your inner world and then wait for the most amazing outer results. ~ Roxana Jones

Self-love is the foundation of a healthy relationship. If you’re not receiving the love you want it means you need to give it to yourself first. Think of loving yourself as priming the pump to allow love to flow freely to you, and through you. How can you be more loving towards yourself?

There’s a big difference between love and attachment. When you’re in a love relationship you love yourself enough to make choices that feel good. If your...

Satori Wisdom - I Am Letting Go of Judgment

Two unlikely companions are the ego and the soul. One is fueled by blame and judgment while the other is filled with love and compassion. Healing occurs when the two come together and find common ground.

Declare “I Am Letting Go of Judgment” and reflect on these words: “Do not judge yourself harshly. Without mercy for ourselves we cannot love the world.” Buddha

Your soul is a non-judgmental witness that responds to pain and suffering with love and compassion. Look for the positive intention behind a negative behavior and it will help you let go of judgment.

Self-judgment is a lack of compassion for being human. It comes from having certain expectations about yourself that you haven’t fulfilled or recalling past mistakes you haven’t forgiven. Set yourself free with self-acceptance.

All human behavior is either coming from love or it is a cry for love. If you are in the habit of judging yourself or others harshly for behaving badly, try...
