Satori Wisdom - I Am Practicing Forgiveness

It takes courage to forgive. You have to let go anger and resentment to set yourself free. The practice of forgiveness dissolves negative energy and removes the grievances that have been stealing your joy.

ACTION STEPS

Being on the receiving end of hurtful behavior can cause anger and resentment. Forgiveness is the antidote. You can't control how other people behave but the way you respond to their behavior is totally up to you. If you're holding on to deep anger and resentment you may need to physically let it go before you can forgive. Kickboxing or punching a bag with boxing gloves are a couple of ways to release stored emotions. 

Forgiving a parent can heal a childhood wound that is showing up in your current relationships. The pain you feel in the present is related to an emotional wound from the past. When you can see that your parents were acting out...

Satori Wisdom - I Am Cultivating Courage

Courage has both masculine and feminine principles. Your intuitive, feminine aspect determines if the fear you’re experiencing is real or imaginary so that your action-oriented, masculine side can respond with courage. 

ACTION STEPS

Declare “I Am Cultivating Courage” as you contemplate these words from Walt Disney: “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

Imaginary fears have a convincing way of blocking your dreams. They speak to you with the frightened voice of your small self that believes you’re not good enough or worthy. Have a conversation with your small self to reassure him/her that you are good enough and worthy of living your dreams. When your inner child can trust you it will loosen its fearful grip on your life, and allow your true self to lead the way.

The lion represents courage and strength in overcoming difficulties. Its self-confidence and personal power have earned him the title, King of the Jungle....
