Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Dazzled by Beauty

There is a big difference between seeing beauty, and feeling dazzled by it. Being amazed by what you see uplifts your body, mind, heart and spirit. Beauty is the experience of love; the more you are dazzled by the beauty of life, the more love will flow through it.

“The radiance in some places is so great as to be fairly dazzling... every crystal, every flower a window opening into heaven, a mirror reflecting the Creator.” ~ John Muir

ACTION STEPS

To dazzle your senses all you need to do is spend time in nature where there is an infinite supply of beauty. When you walk in a forest remember to connect with the green lungs of Mother Earth. Breathe deeply to become dazzled by the gift of oxygen.

Your five senses make it possible to be dazzled by beauty. Use your sense of sight to see what is beautiful; use your sense of smell to enjoy nature’s sweet fragrance; use your sense of touch to feel the earth beneath your bare feet; use your sense...

Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Getting Back to Nature

When a flower is plucked from the soil its life force is instantly cutoff. Humans that are disconnected from the earth must find their way back to nature. Your true self will grow and flourish when you're connected to the natural world.

"I view glyphosate as ground zero of the chronic disease epidemic of the last few decades as well as the global vulnerability in immunity laid bare by this recent pandemic." ~ Zach Bush, MD

 ACTION STEPS

To develop a balanced relationship with nature we need to understand its complexities. For example: there are countless viruses in the air, water and soil at all times that were here long before humans showed up. They actually exist to provide genetic updates that help us adapt to the ever-changing environment here on planet earth.

When particulate matter from pollution, chemicals, and pesticides become attached to viruses it causes clumping and that's when the human body has an adverse reaction....

Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Healing Naturally

From the time you were a small child you had a connection with the natural world. Mother Nature has always been there for you providing whatever you needed. Reconnect to restore your body’s innate intelligence for natural healing.

“The art of healing comes from nature, not from the physician. Therefore the physician must start from nature, with an open mind.” ~ Paracelsus

ACTION STEPS

As a child you probably enjoyed playing outdoors on the grass and in the dirt. It turns out that this is how you develop a strong immune system. You need the friendly bacteria that's in the soil to have a healthy microbiome in your gut. Make a habit of standing or sitting with your bare skin touching the earth as much as possible, and breathe deeply.

Plant a garden in your backyard, grow herbs in pots on a windowsill or become part of a community garden. Be sure to connect with local organic farmers and support them at your local farmer's markets. Nature...

Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Connected to the Earth

Everything you need to thrive comes from the earth. In fact, your body is made up of the same elements that are found in nature. Like a flower that blooms among so many others, you're here to grow and flourish by staying connected to Mother Earth.

"Until a man duplicates a blade of grass, nature can laugh at his so-called scientific knowledge. Remedies from chemicals will never stand in favorable comparison with the products of nature, the living cell of a plant, the final result of the rays of the sun, the mother of all life.”  ~ Thomas Edison

ACTION STEPS

Mother Earth provides exactly what you need to heal, lower stress, reduce inflammation, boost your immune system, and stay healthy. Like Hippocrates said: "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be they food." That means organic whole foods, herbs, and spices from the earth are the best natural medicine.

One way to connect is by standing or walking barefoot on the earth. When your skin...

Satori Wisdom - I Am Well Nourished

Food grown in the earth comes packed with nutrients in a biodegradable package. Mother Nature's colorful array of edible plants demonstrates her flair for abundance. She provides a balanced source of nourishment.

ACTION STEPS

Declare "I Am Well Nourished" and consider this: "Before I started writing about food, my focus was really on the human relationship to plants. Not only do plants nourish us bodily - they nourish us psychologically."  ~ Michael Pollan

Although pumpkins turn into jack 'o lanterns for Halloween they are also brimming with nutrients. Pumpkins are rich in beta-carotene and antioxidants, such as lutein and zeaxanthin for your eyes. The seeds are little storehouses of magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, omega-3 fats, tryptophan, protein, and fiber along with anti-inflammatory benefits. Try them as a healthy snack.

Eating seasonally and locally means you get the best food available at the best price. Autumn is the...
