Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Centered

When you find yourself in emotional waters the first thing to do is get centered in your heart. Returning to your center allows you to naturally accept whatever is happening with grace and ease. Your heart brings the being to human being.

“A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.” ~ Wayne Dyer

ACTION STEPS

As a human you identify with your body and mind. As a being you identify with your soul and spirit. The value in bringing these identities together is to give your soul the best human experience. To feel centered remember that you're both physical and non-physical and your heart center is the bridge between heaven and earth.

Being centered brings you into the present. In each moment you are free to observe the world around you without judgment. Off-center thinking is more focused on the past and future. This type of thinking usually comes with blame...

Satori Wisdom ~ I Am Part of the Solution

Every problem has a natural solution. The solution to human suffering can be found in the simplicity and beauty of nature. A tree doesn't believe it is superior or inferior to another tree, and the sun shines on everyone. Humans are free of suffering in a natural environment of equality.

"When the solution is simple, God is answering." ~ Albert Einstein

ACTION STEPS

Where your attention goes energy flows. If you focus on the problem you are feeding it with your energy. When you put your attention on solving the problem you're investing your energy wisely. First you must be aware of a problem and then consciously shift your focus to solving it.

See the big picture. To end human suffering we must wake up and realize that we are all connected as spiritual beings on this human journey together. We must treat one another with respect, understanding and kindness in order to co-exist on this planet. You must become part of the solution in...

Satori Wisdom - I Am Practicing Self-Love

We live in the feeling of our thoughts, and our feelings drive our actions. Self-love is a combination of empowering self-talk and daily self-care. Loving yourself is the way to experience wholeness and inner peace.

"You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe,
deserve your love and affection." ~ Buddha

ACTION STEPS

The dove symbolizes love and peace. It's a reminder to soar above the turmoil and find peace within yourself. Doves represent the gentleness of spirit you need to love yourself more fully and experience pure wholeness.

Everyone has both a masculine and a feminine side. The active masculine aspect is your body/mind; the receptive feminine aspect is your heart/spirit. When your body/mind are balanced and...

Satori Wisdom - I Am At Peace

Spirit is like a vast ocean where the soul is a wave, and the ego is the dramatic spray trying to get all the attention. When the spray settles into the wave, and the wave re-emerges with the sea; there is profound peace.

ACTION STEPS

Declare "I Am At Peace" and ponder this quote: "You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level." ~ Eckhart Tolle

Like a wave rising in the ocean, you are a unique expression of that which you are a part of. When you remember your Source and live in alignment with its power, you will experience deep inner peace. Practice meditation as a way to embody tranquility.

Resentment and judgment are habits of the ego. When your ego believes it has been mistreated it wants to hold a grudge. If it judges another's behavior the ego becomes trapped in its own limited perceptions. Let go of resentment and judgment to restore peace.

Guilt, shame, fear, and doubt make up four sides of a box...

Satori Wisdom - I Am Free to Choose

You have the freedom to choose drama or peace. The ego can’t stand peace, and the soul stands for peace. When you feel the unwelcome discomfort of chaos, that is your soul waking up with the intention to be free.

"Every human has four endowments - self awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate human freedom... The power to choose, to respond, to change." ~ Stephen Covey

ACTION STEPS

Are you ready to take flight in a new direction? If you feel stuck you’re being held back by your own self-imposed limitations. Follow the lead of your soul that is ready to fly, and your ego will join you.

Most of human drama is caused by egos getting offended. Wars are started by inflated egos as well as conflict in relationships. When you decide not to take anything personally you’re free of drama because you’re no longer wired to get offended.

If you find yourself in conflict with another person, or even with...

Satori Wisdom - I Am a Peacemaker

The evergreen tree represents the stamina needed to get through the winter. It symbolizes the same kind of endurance it takes to be a peacemaker in a troubled world. The noble evergreen signifies the power of peace and perseverance.

ACTION STEPS

Declare “I Am a Peacemaker” and make peace a priority in your life.

World peace is the result of global inner peace. You are responsible for the energy you bring into the world; make sure its the peaceful kind.

Your life is your message. Do you want to use your life to be about conflict or peace?

Anger means something needs to stop. If it’s something you need to stop thinking, do so. If it’s something you need to stop doing, then you have the power to end the behavior. If it’s something you want someone else to stop, you may need to let go of trying to control another person.

Being a people pleaser and a peacemaker are two very different roles. One is out of fear of disappointing people and the other is out of...
