Do you want a joyful life?
The holidays are meant to be a season of joy. If you start to feel like you're not doing enough or that stress, overwhelm, and fatigue are stealing your joy, it's time to stop what you're doing and find your joy.
Joy lives in the light of your soul. When the dark side of the ego comes between you and your soul, it diminishes the light and hides your joy.
A joyful life comes from waking up and remembering that you have unlimited potential. To fulfill your potential it’s helpful to remove the obstacles that are blocking you from hearing the voice of your soul.
When you change your beliefs, you change your life. Fear-based beliefs will stop you from realizing your full potential more than any outside circumstances ever will.
What you believe about yourself matters. What you think repeatedly forms your beliefs, and your beliefs create your reality. If you want to change anything about your life, you have to start by changing your false...
Everything is energy, including you. Your energy cannot be destroyed but it can be drained. To own your energy you need to spread your wings and not allow anyone to put mud on them.
Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended. But what you're doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you. ~ Joel Osteen
ACTION STEPS
When you allow little things to take your energy you're getting caught up in the limited perspective of your small ego. Switch to the unlimited perspective of your soul and you won't sweat the small stuff.
You are surrounded by an energy field that extends an arms length around your body. Negative energy can puncture your aura causing your life force to leak out. Do your best to keep your distance from negativity. If you need to mend your aura spend time alone in nature or meditate.
Drama can drain your energy....
Your purpose is like a sunken treasure waiting to be found. It creates a longing in your soul, restlessness in your heart, and inspiration from your spirit. This treasure is the gift you are meant to share with the world.
“The person without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder.” ―Thomas Carlyle
ACTION STEPS
Do what makes you come alive and you will be living on purpose. It's simply a combination of loving yourself and being of service to others. When you act out of love, kindness, empathy, and compassion, you're on the right track to fulfilling your life's purpose. Find a problem you genuinely care about and come up with a solution.
Your purpose is less about what you're doing in the world and more about who you're being. That means that the doing needs to come out of your being. Be true to your values and there will be more purpose in what you choose to do with your time.
We all have the shared purpose of elevating our consciousness. It's easy to get...

The outer world is a reflection of your inner world. When you're being true to your authentic self the world looks bright and beautiful. Being true to your conditioned self dulls that beauty. Be true to your soul and your ego will adapt.
“To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.” ~ William Shakespeare
ACTION STEPS
Being true to your soul will lead you to your highest potential. Your soul holds the dreams for your life. When you awaken your dreams your higher self will make good on your intentions.
The ego is who you think you are; your soul is who you really are. Your conditioned self needs your loyalty to be in charge of your life. When you decide to be more loyal to your soul than your ego, your life will take on new meaning.
You'll know that your ego is in control when you're preoccupied with past and future thinking. Your soul guides you to live in the present...
As above, so below. As a spiritual being you're already whole and complete. It stands to reason that part of your physical journey is to experience heaven on earth by remembering that your natural state is wholeness.
“Everything you need you already have. You are complete right now, you are a whole, total person, not an apprentice person on the way to someplace else.” ~ Wayne Dyer
ACTION STEPS
Vibrant health is an aspect of wholeness. When you forget who you really are then parts of who you think you are turn into fragments that become vulnerable to illness and dis-ease. Remember that being whole is your true nature and healing is natural.
Your mental well-being is tied to your belief about wholeness. If you believe that you need something or someone outside of yourself to feel complete, you are mistaken. That is a myth that has been perpetuated by the illusion of lack. You already have everything you need as a spiritual being having a human experience.

The soul is pure love living in a state of joy. You'll know that you're connected with your higher self when you're feeling good. Embody your childlike goodness by staying connected to your soul and it will always guide you to the best course of action.
“Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts.” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda
ACTION STEPS
The voice of your soul is intuition; your body is its physical form; your emotions are its language; your mind is its instrument; and your ego is its companion. Connect with your soul on every level and it will guide you to your highest good.
One way to hear the intuitive voice of your soul is to invite it to speak to you through the written word. You can sit quietly, take several deep breaths to calm your nervous system, and then write your soul a question. Continue journaling whatever comes through as an answer.
Your body is the physical...
The ego builds a comfort zone to feel safe and survive. When you trust your soul to be your guide you'll feel safe to go beyond your comfort zone and thrive. This is how you reach your full potential.
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” ~ Neale Donald Walsch
ACTION STEPS
Your body is a physical manifestation of your comfort zone, and it's doing its best to help you survive. If you're experiencing any discomfort in your body this is one way your soul is urging you to make some changes. To get out of this comfort zone it's useful to determine the emotional issues beneath the physical symptoms and clear them out of your body to support healing.
Living in a comfort zone is the realm of status quo where no real growth can occur. If you're not growing . . . you're dying. Choose to grow, then trust your intuition to lead the way and the Universe will support every step you take towards expansion.
The wisdom of getting out of your comfort zone comes from the...

The past may leave a trail behind you but it doesn't have the power to create a path in front of you. Although it causes a ripple effect made of life experiences, they have all been for your soul's highest good and evolution. Keep moving forward in the direction of enlightenment.
“Learn from the past, set vivid, detailed goals for the future, and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control: now.” ~ Denis Waitley
ACTION STEPS
However you choose to move your body throughout the day, set an intention that with each forward step you take you are leaving the past behind and fully entering the present moment. This will help your body let go of any physical discomfort it may be carrying related to the past.
When others judge you, or you judge yourself, for what you did in the past it's helpful to remember that you're not defined by your past experiences; it's who you become as a result of what you've been through that...
When following your North Star it's best to look forward to keep moving onward and upward. Looking backward will keep you stuck in a past that has already been traveled. Trust the wisdom of the Universe to help you navigate the journey that lies ahead.
“The way to find your own North Star is not to think or feel your way forward but to dissolve the thoughts and feeling that make you miserable. You don't have to learn your destiny—you already know it; you just have to unlearn the thoughts that blind you to what you know.”
